Beautfiul pictures! I find gardening so therapeutic!
I am teaching summer school this year and we have started our own vegetable garden in one of the school courtyards. We are tying our gardening in with the classic fairy tales of Jack and the Beanstalk (yep, planted beans) and Cinderella (planted vegetables in shoes). The kids are loving the learning…all done in the beauty of the outdoors!
Thanks for sharing the pictures, you have inspried me to get outside this morning!
Thank you!! My kids love to help in the garden as well. It is very calming for me. Hehe! I sure hope you have a great day out and about!
wow….thats a BIG garden u got right there..soon you can have your own veggies shop 🙂
WOW! I am truly impressed!! Therein lies a great talent, hon. I think you need to open a separate page or even blog to devote to gardening, how-to’s, tips, pics, etc… Seriously. I wanna come over to your house!
All I can say is WOOOOOW! I cant wait until I can harvest my veggies! I was late planting but I finally have tomatoes, garden beans and squash actually growing! You did a great job with the garden!!!!!
-lol- I know, right! It’s crazy how fast things have grown. We just planted pole beans so it looks like that will be the last thing to harvest. Next year I will definitely do green beans earlier.
Thank you!!
pretty pics!
and sweet kids 🙂
Thank you Doris! 😀
See, that’s what I’m talking about! I want me a garden too. It would be so fitting since I’m a vegetarian but I need to do my homework and figure out when to start growing what. Y’all are doing the absolute right thing!
Hehe. We start ours after the last frost which is around the beginning of May.
I’m so jealous, I love fresh garden veggies…..I’m just too lazy to grow them 🙂
-lol- I have my lazy moments too and then when I do go down there the cucumbers are so huge.
Oh my!!! Look how much you got today, and wow I would need a latter to stand beside your sunflowers.
I hope you like to make pickles. You are going to have SOOOO many cucumbers! LOL But your garden will help out the dinner table for sure, and there is nothing better than home grown vegetables!
Yes Ma’am! I love it! We haven’t tried to make pickles yet. We just have been giving them away to the neighborhood. -lol-
