Very Inspiring Blogger Award

I have to admit, I am very happy about this award. I have prayed so hard about not just accepting how the world is and to start standing up for the True Word of God. Religion of Man has really turned people away from God because of all the junk/rituals that you have to follow. They also teach sin-consciousness when the sin has already been dealt with. God is all love and all powerful if you just receive it and all the promises that you have been freely given. I am in this world but I will not be of this world. We as Christians are suppose to be the light of this world…allowing His light to shine through us, as living sacrifices. If we start agreeing with the world, we are no better than the world.

2 Corinthians 6:14Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

A few weeks ago the Holy Spirit spoke to me and gave me a scripture.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Since then I have been used by God to share the truth with His children in a significant way. That is what is suppose to happen right? Yes! It makes me excited to be able to take what I have received through revelation and share with others….others that are hungry for the truth….other than are not focusing on their flesh but on the spiritual man.

Thank you very much Matthew (Cleansed by God) for sharing this award with me. Blessings to you my friend.

  1. The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit. The person with the Spirit makes judgments about all things, but such a person is not subject to merely human judgments,
    (1Co 2:14-15)

To a Jewish audience who knew about the things of God Peter preached repentance.

When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?” Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
    (Act 2:37-38)

To the Phillipian Jailer, Paul preached a very different message.

The jailer called for lights, rushed in and fell trembling before Paul and Silas. He then brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved–you and your household.”
    (Act 16:29-31)

Note: to a covenant people familiar with covenant and with what sin was, Peter preached repentance. To a gentile pagan man with no concept of sin as it relates to the word of God, Paul, in response to the man’s question, “what must I do to be saved?” , responds, “believe”.
By no means am I saying there is no need for repentance and forgiveness of sins. What I am saying is know your audience and be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. It is the Holy Spirit’s job to convict the world of sin, not ours ,”When he comes, he will prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment: about sin, because people do not believe in me; about righteousness, because I am going to the Father, where you can see me no longer; and about judgment, because the prince of this world now stands condemned”.
    (Joh 16:8-11)

Also, it was after an earthquake and the Lord showing His power and glory that led the jailer to recognize that he needed saving.

Jesus told his disciples that He would make them fishers of men. You need bait to catch fish and the bait you use depends on the fish you are trying to catch. In any event, the bait is determined by the Holy Spirit whether it be a healing or word of knowledge or an earthquake as in the case of the jailer, He alone knows the human heart and what it will take to lead the individual to Christ.

    1. What translation did you provide in the above scriptures? 1 Corinthians 2: 14-15 in the KJV states “14But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.” I guess it was verse 15 that had me question that.

Thank you for commenting. If we leave it up to the Holy Spirit to speak through us then we have no chance for our flesh to get involved. The Spirit will guide you.
