My husband and son thinks that it is funny to chase me with frogs. I don’t understand. Is it because they think it is funny when I drop everything and run like a wild woman? Possibly. But the truth is this, I am not afraid of those little green suckers….I think that they are kind of cute in a slimy, weird kind of way…I am scared of the element of surprise. What does this mean, you say. Well, my husband gets a real big kick out of throwing them on me! I KNOW RIGHT! One day he is going to get a real KICK! LOL! I went in the house last night to potty (yeah I said potty, I have small kids, it’s a habit) and I open the door and low and behold, who is standing there…My husband….with a dern frog. Luckily, my kids were in the bathroom too and once he pulled that frog out, my little girl went to screaming. Ha! So, I pushed her out there and locked the door. LOL!! I refused to open the door until he swore to me that he took it back outside. No, I’m not a mean mommy, just call it payback from squirting me with the water hose.
Anyway, this is not the first time this has happened. On night on the carport he tried to throw two frogs on me. I ran inside and refused to let him and the kids in. I locked both doors. I was standing on a chair to look out the window, and he was standing there, swearing to me that he put the frogs back in the yard. He even got the kids to lie and say the same thing. Right before I was about to let him in, his shirt pocket popped up and out come little Kermit the frog! LIAR! After twenty minutes, I finally opened the door and let the frog clan inside. I made him pull out all his pockets and I even check the kids; just to be safe.
In conclusion, I got up this morning and came outside to water my beautiful ferns on my front porch. I proceed to sit them down and drench them with water. After I finish, I pick up my fern to hang it back up on its hanger and guess what I find. A frog! I believe he purposely put one in that fern so while watering it would jump out at me.
In the picture above is Foxy the frog. My son gave him/her that beautiful name. He is now resting in our garden.
I seriously have to get my husband back!
ps. No frogs were harmed in this story.
