4. When in doubt, throw it out. If you haven’t used it in 6 months, you probably don’t need it.

 

” I am a firm believer in this. It does not matter if it is clothes, shoes, toys, whatever else. If you don’t use it in 6 months, why do you have it stored in your closet? I can understand something that your Grandma gave you that will have big value when you get older but as for clothes that you have since High School, really!. When in doubt, Throw it out!”

  1. I will tend to get rid of things I haven’t made use of but I’m not always successful in some areas. As I confront a very belated cleaning of my garage, I don’t see this being quite a challenge, however.

  2. I agree with you with the added, when you bring something into the house, like a piece of clothing, a piece of clothing should leave.
