30 Days of Truth – Day 11

Day 11 – Something people seem to compliment you the most on.

It seems like there are two things that I get the most compliments.

One is my photography. I always get compliments on my previous photography. I’m not one to brag, but personally, I think they are fabulous. -lol- But, that’s just my opinion. 😉 Here is a few of my favorites. I enjoy photography so much. If I could get paid to take photos, that would be awesome. But, I believe when it comes down to it, Nursing is the best for my family. I will definitely still do photography in my spare time. I have been thinking about it a lot lately. Once I get all my equipment that I need, I am going to start back taking outdoor portrait photography. YAY! Maybe once I start working, I could get studio equipment. That would be awesome.

The other thing I get compliments on is my garden. Or shall I say, Our garden. This year was our first official garden. I have had a blast, really! To plant seeds and watch them grow into food is amazing. -lol- I say that like I have been under a rock for my whole life. Maybe it is the whole concept of saving money. I don’t know. Our garden has been a blessing for us and everyone around us. We have given away over 75% of our vegetables. Which is totally fine. Yesterday was the first day of our “freezing” extravaganza. We blanched yellow squash and zucchini. After blanching we battered each individual slice in corn meal and put on a cookie sheet in the freezer for one hour. Once they were frozen we put them in freezer bags. I sure hope they turn out good. I like to fry squash so I hope when we get ready to cook them, they won’t be too soggy. Next, we are going to try making dill pickles. Fingers crossed.
