Love is, above all, the gift of oneself. Day 2

30 days of Truth via We’re Jumpin

Day 02 – Something you love about yourself.

  1. I love absolutely everything about myself except the whole patience thing that I mentioned yesterday.
  2. I love that I am tall.
  3. I love that I have green eyes.
  4. I love my body even though it is not perfect.
  5. I love that I don’t sunburn.
  6. I love my thick hair.
  7. I stand up for what is right, even if it gets me in trouble.
  8. That I’m a great listener
  9. My sense of humor.
  10. My honesty
  11. I’m healthy
  12. I can not fake my feelings.
  13. I am a supportive wife.
  14. I love learning.
  15. I love photography
  16. I can be a goof.
  17. I have a bright green thumb

I want to make this list even longer. Sometimes I think I have a short term memory loss or a long short term memory loss. Haha!  I don’t know. I wish I could list a hundred things that I love about myself at the drop of a hat. Maybe I am not that kind of writer. Maybe I’m not a writer at all. I’m not on fire to write. However, I am on fire to photograph anything and everything. I think this is why most of my post are photos. Every now and then I try to write and be creative but sometimes I fall short. This is one thing I love about myself. I love to take photographs and I love to share with whoever wants to view. I think I just figured out why I made this blog. Not to write and inspire with my creative words. To photograph this side of the world and inspire others with my creative photography.

Be inspired my friends. I learned something new today about myself. 😀

Happy Blogging!

  1. I think I will participate through the comment line here. Yesterday, I said that one of the things I like about myself is that I can be extremely generous. Not just with “things” but with my time, encouragement, prayers, stuff that doesn’t involve “stuff”. One of the things I like about that is that when I am generous, it is spontaneous and I usually have not thought about it at all. It’s like the “inside me” who I think is the “real me” just jumps out there and says…you may have…whatever it is. Does that make sense? The “ego me” has to think about it, wonder if they will appreciate it or take good care of it, will they spend it the “right” way. But the real me just gives, no strings attached. This is yours now and I am walking away, no thanks needed. Do with it what you will. Because when I give to make myself happy, the act is enough. All the other stuff doesn’t matter. Wow, maybe I should include this in a post. Now that I’m writing about it…there is a bit more there than I thought. Anyway, fun stuff, this.

    1. It’s amazing how when we start to write a little comment it turns out to be a awesome thing. It’s like our eyes begin to open up a little more. Sometimes, my fingers to the talking and when I read it back, I’m like “WOW” but it came straight from the heart. No contemplating or going back and forth in my brain about it. It just flows natural and I think that is who we are.
