Day 9: Best Friend Forever

Day 9: A favorite picture of your best friend

Words could never tell you
How important you’ll always be,
Just little things that you do
That are especially meant for me.
You always seem to remember
All the things to do.
That makes friends last forever,
And share a bond so true.
I’m so glad God gave to me
Someone just like you.
He knew that you would be
One of the chosen few!

Love you Jenna!

  1. Thanks Lou. Lisa and I are like butter to toast or she is half my brain and I’m hers, or whichever you would quote for 2 peas in a pod. Sorry about your friend. I couldn’t imagine my best friend without me. I know that must be so hard for you. In time it might get easier but you will never forget what she looked like, or how she made you feel. I will definitely cherish each moments we have now. Lisa and I both have realized that life can go by in a blink of an eye. We see each other every week sometimes more. I do wish that things get better for you and always know that I will send you cyber/bloggy hugs xD

  2. I have to get in here on the ‘Awwww’s’. You girls look so happy together!
I found a friend when we were still in our teens. We went through marriages, having children, divorces, good times, bad times, all the times together. If there were such a thing as a soulmate, no man could come close, it would’ve been her. As God is my witness, in the almost 30 years we were friends we never had one argument. Not one. We were that much alike. We knew if the other gave criticism it was only to help and because she/I cared so much. We had each others back, and never let the petty stuff come between us. I hope your friendship has that kind of love and lasts like ours did. My bestfriend, Beth, passed away it will be three years this coming September. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think of her and miss her. Cherish what you have ladies. Life is fleeting.
