..freely you have received, freely give.

SATAN DEFEATED BY CHRIST.
Ps 60:12 Through God we shall do valiantly: for He it is that shall tread down our enemies.
Mat 8:16 When evening was come, they brought to Him many that were possessed with devils: and He cast out the spirits with His Word, and healed all that were sick.
Mat 10:1 And when He had called to Him His twelve disciples, He gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.
:8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely you have received, freely give.
Mk 16:17,18 And these signs shall follow them that believe; in My Name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues. They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
Lk 9:1,2 Then He called His twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. He sent them to preach the Kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.
Lk 10:19 Behold, I give to you power to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
Lk 11:20,21,22 But if I with the finger of God cast out demons, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you. When a strong man armed keeps his palace, his goods are in peace: But when a Stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, He takes from him all his armour wherein he trusts and divides his spoils.
Jn 12:31 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.
Jn 16:11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.
:33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you might have peace. In the world you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
Eph 1:18-23 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, and what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power to us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power, which He wrought in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and set Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: and has put all things under his feet, and gave Him to be the head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fulness of Him that fills all in all.
Eph 6:10-18 Finally my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take to you the whole armour of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girded with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And
take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.
Col 2:15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, He made an open show of them, triumphing over them in it.
Heb 2:14,15 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also Himself likewise took part of the same; that through death He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is the devil; and deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
Jam 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
1Pet 5:8,9 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour: whom resist steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
1Jn 2:14b I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the Word of God abides in you, and you have overcome the wicked one.
1Jn 3:8b For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.
1Jn 4:4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.
Rev 1:18 I am He that lives, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
Rev 12:11 They overcame him by the Blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

I love my church!

The Church at Carrollton

What a blessing it is to have a group of like-minded individuals who are hungry for the truth. Come and take a look around.

Many times in our quest for a church home and a place for spiritual growth, we look for a familiar denomination or a place where we find many others with similar interests, backgrounds and beliefs. In Matthew 6:33, Jesus Christ teaches us to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness – not a denomination or religion created by man.
Throughout the Bible, the apostle Paul wrote letters to fellow believers addressing them simply as the Church. Somewhere between then and now man has watered down the Gospel of Christ and put his own spin on worship. It is time to find the truth.

The Church at Carrollton is not a traditional religious church bound by denominational ties. The Church at Carrollton is not a formal country club bound by social ties, The Church at Carrollton is The Church, and our desire is to know The Truth.

Is your life full of peace, joy and blessing?

Are you tired of playing games with the religion of man?

Are you tired of hearing the same religious answers to your questions?

Come learn The Truth with The Church at Carrollton

Kingdom Focus

The Church At Carrollton is not a place where we learn religion of man.  Here we are taught God’s kingdom principles (Matthew 6:33).  The Bible was not written from an American perspective and therefore cannot be studied without examining the Scriptures from a Jewish standpoint.  The cross is the place where the Jew and the Gentile become one new man (Ephesians 2).  We were created to live a life of peace and joy and blessing so that we can be a blessing to others.  (Genesis 12:2, Romans 14:17, Jeremiah 29:11).

Mission Statement

We come together as a body of believers to seek and to learn how to walk in the kingdom of God and then we go out equipped, knowing who we are in Christ, walking in newness of life, being blessed to minister to others in the blessing.

Statement of Faith

The kingdom of God is Christ.  Therefore, The Church At Carrollton is a Christ  focused church, loving the Lord God with all our heart, soul, and might (Deuteronomy 6:5, Mark 12:30), and loving our neighbors as ourselves (Mark 12:31). Our focus is not on religion of man, but on God’s kingdom principles (Matthew 6:33).   As born again believers, we are yoked together with Christ and made joint-heirs with Him (Matthew 11:29-30).  When we understand who we are and that our position in Christ is Sonship (Galatians 4:7), as well as understanding who we serve, we can go forward speaking blessings instead of curses (Proverbs 18:21), becoming kings and priests unto God (Revelation 1:6), walking in power and authority, having been made holy, righteous, sanctified, and justified by Him (Romans 12:1, Romans 5:19, I Corinthians 6:11, Romans 3:24, Romans 4:25).

The gospel of Jesus Christ is not only that Jesus died on the cross for us.  The true gospel actually is in Genesis.  The Bible shows us that God speaks a covenant with Abram of blessing to him and to his seed (Genesis 12:1-3 – the gospel of Christ; also, Genesis 15:1-5, Hebrews 4:2).   That seed was passed through generations until God manifested everything through Christ to come into the natural as Jesus.  The seed is Christ, the Son of God.  Jesus, Son of Man, was the outer covering over Christ – over the seed.  God, through the Holy Spirit, overshadowed the virgin, Mary, and took the spiritual seed of Christ and placed it in Mary so that when birthed, the covenant that God made with Abram was fulfilled through Jesus Christ.  If you are born again, you are Abraham’s seed (Galatians 3:29).

Just believing in Jesus will not get you to heaven.  Romans 10:13 says that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.  What then causes a man to call upon the name of the Lord? True salvation is when the Holy Spirit draws you to the door, which is Jesus Christ (John 6:44).  When you accept by faith what He did, then the Bible says your human spirit dies and is replaced with the Spirit of Christ (Romans 6:4) and you become a new creature in Christ (II Corinthians 5:17).  At the time you are born again, you receive the Holy Ghost and are sealed to the day of redemption (Ephesians 4:30).

When we study Scripture we should never take the Scripture out of context.  The Bible never contradicts itself.  For example, in Hebrews 6, the doctrine of baptisms is discussed and in Ephesians 4, the Bible says there is one Lord, one faith, and one baptism.  In studying this, you find that John was the forerunner of Jesus and he was getting the people ready for what was to come.  John told them that someone was coming after him that would baptize them with fire and the Holy Ghost (Matthew 3:11, Luke 3:16).  John’s baptism was with water unto repentance.  When Jesus came and was baptized, He did so to fulfill prophecy.  The Holy Ghost came on Pentecost to bring the Spirit so that we could be born again back into the kingdom (being baptized into Christ).  After that, John’s baptism was fulfilled  (Acts 8, Galatians 3:26-29, Ephesians 4:4-6, Romans 6:1, I John 4,5, and 6).

God created us body, soul, and spirit.  In Genesis 1 and 2, the Bible says that God created man in his image.  God is a Spirit and He created male and female spirits (Genesis 1:26-27).  Then He took the dust of the ground and formed physical man and breathed into his nostrils and man became a living soul (Genesis 2:7).  Therefore, we are body, soul, and spirit.  If you are born again, your spirit can not sin (I John 3:9).  Our spirit man is perfect (Matthew 5:48) and sits in heavenly places with Christ (Ephesians 2:6).  We must renew our mind, or soul, daily (Romans 12:2), and our flesh should die daily.  Only when our body and soul line up with our spirit will we see the ultimate power and glory of God manifest in our lives.

God is a spirit and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. The Father desires true worshippers to worship Him (John 4:23-24).

In John 8:32, the Bible says,” And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”  It is the knowledge of the truth that sets us free.  We have to get past thinking in the physical mind to the spiritual realm of thinking of God’s Word in order for our lives to change.

Of two olive branches, the natural olive branch is the Jewish people and the wild olive branch is the Gentile people.  God has grafted the two together to become one new man.   Even though you may not be born Jewish, if you are truly born again, you are a Jew inwardly (Ephesians 2:19, Romans 11:17, Romans 2:29).  There are seven Jewish feasts that are feasts of the Lord and are intended to be observed forever.  They are the Feast of Passover, the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Feast of Firstfruits, the Feast of Pentecost, the Feast of Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah), the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur), and the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot).  These feasts are for all who are born again, as we are grafted in to the natural olive branch.  As we learn about these feasts, we learn about receiving the blessing so that we may minister to others in the blessing (Hebrews 6:10-12)

Accepting the yoke of the kingdom of God; a yoke that is not a burden but a privilege (Deuteronomy 6:4-9, Matthew 11:29-30).
